He has great experience and will add immense competition for both Jussi Jaaskelainen and Lee Nicholls, which is what you need to drive the club forward."

He obviously knows Jussi from his time at Bolton, he knows the area, the training ground is familiar to him and I'm sure he will be a great addition to the squad."

Having joined the Reds last summer on a freetransfer, the Hungarian has struggled to make an impact on Liverpool's starting XI. In his first Premier League start under coach Jurgen Klopp away to Watford, he dropped an attempted catch from a corner which led to their first goal, and ended up conceding two more in a 3-0 loss to forget.

He then started against West Bromwich Albion at Anfield in the last game of the 2015/16 season, only to concede once more with Liverpool drawing 1-1.

Bogdan has made most of his professional appearances for his first English club Bolton, to which he spent eight years, making over 100 appearances for the now League One side.
