Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher enjoyed a cheeky dig at Chelsea captain John Terry after his playing comeback today.

Terry was been hammered in many quarters for his 26th minute farewell on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.

After victory in Sydney, Carragher joked that he wanted to be substituted in the 23rd minute!

"I was waiting to come off in the 23rd minute!" he tweeted.

"Clean sheet, passing exemplary, set pieces fine & only just off a 24 hr flight 8 hrs ago!!!!".

Carragher, who retired four years ago after 737 appearances, marked his comeback to the first team with 45 minutes against Sydney in the ANZ National Stadium.
