Liverpool Legend Claims Jurgen Klopp Should Sign Joe Hart in January

According toformer Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher - who was talking on Sky Sports after Liverpool beat Stoke 4-1 on Tuesdayat Anfield -Jurgen Klopp should look to sign Joe Hart in January, if he's available.

Carragher: "If I was Klopp and someone said to me you can go out and get Joe Hart in January, I would do it."

Of course, the goalkeeping position has been a very contentious one at Liverpool this season; last season's stopper Simon Mignolet was replaced earlier this term by Loris Karius - but after a string of ineffectual displays from the young German, Mignolet has been reinstated recently.

But the general consensus appears to be that neither keeper is good enough, and - clearly in agreement -Liverpool legend Carragher had the following to say in his role as a pundit for Sky:

"If I was Klopp and someone said to me you can go out and get Joe Hart in January, I would do it.

The position Liverpool are in, if they get offered a goalkeeper in January who has won titles like Joe Hart, I would go andget him."

As for the game itself, the comfortable victory saw Liverpool reclaim second place in the Premier League table, six points behind leaders Chelsea.
