Steven Gerrard isn't quite ready to hang up his boots yet. The Liverpool legend, now 36, apparently wants to extend his career and follow in the footsteps of fellow England icon David Beckham by embarking on a continental adventure in Europe.
Beckham had spells with AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain as well as turning out for LA Galaxy in the MLS and, according toGoal, Gerrard is interested in mirroring such a path.
Gerrard joined LA Galaxy in 2015 after a 17-year spell with his boyhood club which saw him inspire the Reds to a glorious Champions League triumph in 2005, but has appeared to indicate that his time in California is coming to an end.

The midfielder recently posted a message on Instagram saying it had been a 'privilege' playing for Galaxy, adding:This city and this club will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you.
It is also believed the FA are keen to offer Gerrard a coaching role with the England U19s, so it's entirely possible that the veteran takes on one final challenge before he writes the first chapter into his post-playing career.
Gerrard previously said this regarding a future in coaching:"I'm not 100 per cent sure but I think it will probably be my last year as a player.

"I have had a chat with [Liverpool manager Jurgen] Klopp. I haven't had an offer as such, but the club have let me know they are keen for me to come back.
"I am always going to be biased towards Liverpool and the FA and basically, when I am back home, I am going to carry on with my punditry work and try and move around clubs and gain more experience, going to watch managers and learning more.
