Liverpool New-Boy Delighted With Reds Move Despite Lack of Playing Time

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic insists that he has no regrets over joining the Anfield side and is happy with his choice.

The Serbian youngster hasn't been very involved this season, and has only played 28 minutes of Premier League football under Jurgen Klopp so far, despite having impressed during the pre-season.

However, he has been given more time in the EFL cup, and played the full 90 minutes in the Reds' 3-0 win over Derby County a few weeks back.

The player claims to be happy with the way things have turned out thus far, although he is being integrated quite slowly.

I love to learn and improve though and I'm definitely very happy with my choice of club. The atmosphere around Liverpool is great right now and I just want to get more and more minutes on the field to show my skills, he said to FIFA.com, as cited by theLiverpool Echo.

The big thing the coach said to me was that I needed to improve my defensive attributes.

I'm trying hard to do that and I know that I'm still young, learning all the time and still adapting to English football. At Liverpool, we play very high on the pitch with a lot of running and pressing.

I saw the statistics and we are top in England in terms of the amount of metres we run in a match. It's a great philosophy and working well for us, but it's tough too and takes some time to adapt to be perfect in it.
