Liverpool are reportedly lining up a move for Leicester City's Christian Fuchs, despite Reds boss Jurgen Klopp insisting that the club will not be securing any more deals in this transfer window.

According to latest reports fromHITC, the Merseyside club are consideringmaking a move for the Foxes' left-back before transfer deadline day on Wednesday, amidst rumours that Klopp is unhappy with his current first choice defender Alberto Moreno after an unconvincing start to the season.

Klopp has been using central midfielder James Milner as a temporary replacement for Moreno, however he was also caught out of position several timesby Danny Rose in the club's 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, highlighting a major issue that Klopp hasn't addressed yet this summer.

After the game, Klopp told theMirrorthat he did not intend to bring in another left-back this summer, however, with reports suggesting that Christian Fuchs' new contract talks have stalled at Leicester, the Reds appear to have been put on red alert with an eye to making a bid for the Austrian.

The 30-year-old was an ever present figure in City's title winning season last year, making four assists in 32 appearances, and has the ability to defend as well as produce accurate crosses in attack.

Whether or not Fuchs is keen to leave the King Power stadium remains to be seen, and the fact that the Foxes have Champions League football this year could convince the Austria international to remain at the club for one more year at least.
