However, while Coutinho is set to have a scan on his ankle to assess the extent of the damage, Liverpool's medical staff have reportedly opted not to do the same forFirmino, and the 25-year-oldwill likely be rested simplyas a precautionary measure against the Championship side on Tuesday.

Leeds'Kyle Bartley admitted to being 'happy'at not having to face Coutinho on Tuesday and the news of Firmino's knock will further please Garry Monk's side.

With Firmino, Coutinho, Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge all likely to miss Tuesday's tie, Klopp could give opportunities to fringe players to prove their worth.

Ovie Ejaria and Ben Woodburn have featured on the bench in recent weeks and could make rarestarts, while Saturday's scorer Divock Origi will almost certainly begin upfront.
