LOAN WATCH: Chelsea teenager Ugbo bags first goal and assists in Barnsley win

Published on: 28 August 2017

Teenager Ike Ugbo helped Barnsley to a 3-0 win over Sunderland in the Championship this weekend, after scoring the opener in the 31st minute.

The midfielder, who is on loan from Chelsea this season, scored his first ever championship goal, in his debut start for Barnsley.

The 18-year-old was the first to react to the loose ball in the box, after Adam Hamill's cross fell, and was able to side-foot the ball into the net.

Ugbo was able to ensure victory for Barnsley, after he slid a perfectly-timed ball to George Moncur for the third and final goal of the match.
