The Football Union of Russia has named the Lokomotiv stadium in Moscow as the venue for the friendly between the Russian national football team and the Black Stars on September 6.

The 2018 World Cup hosts hope to use the game against the four-time African champions to qualm fears about racism in their country.

The 28,800 capacity stadium owned by the Russian Railways was contructed at a cost of $30 million.

Ticketing details about the matches will be announced later.

The game will take place at 19:00, seven days after the Russians play Turkey in Antalya.

Russia coach Stanislav Cherchesov has already picked his 23-man squad to face Ghana.
