Ghana and Los Angeles FC forward Latif Blessing has been included in the Major League Soccer Team of the Week following his splendid performance in his side's 3-3 draw with LA Galaxy on Sunday.

Blessing bagged a brace to help his side secure a vital point at the Banc of California Stadium.

The 22-year-old scored in 12th minute after arriving at the far post to head home the equalizer after Zlatan Ibrahimovic had opened the scoring after just two minutes.

Former Barcelona striker Ibrahimovic and Cristian Pavon scored two goals to hand LA Galaxy a 3-1 lead by the 16th minute.

The Ghanaian bagged his brace after rounding the goalkeeper before firing home to reduce the deficit for the home side before half time.

Former Arsenal forward Carlos Vela scored in the 53rd minute to draw the home team level.

Blessing is the second Los Angeles player named in the team after Carlos Vela.
