Ghana international Majeed Ashimeru has noted that he is elated after wrapping up his loan move to RSC Anderlecht for the rest of the season.
The former WAFA SC midfielder on Wednesday joined the Belgian Jupiler Pro League side from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.
“RSCA loans Majeed Ashimeru from Red Bull Salzburg.
“The 23-year-old player from Ghana joins Anderlecht on loan with an option to buy,” an official statement from the Belgian club has announced today.
Taking to his social media to react to the latest move, Majeed Ashimeru says he is anxious to link up with his teammates at his new club.
“Proud and looking forward to meeting my new family soon,” the youngster posted on his Twitter page.
Majeed Ashimeru, 23, has in the past few years significantly improved his game and is hoping the move gives him the chance to play regularly to continue his rise to the top.
In the past, he played for WAFA SC in the Ghana Premier League before moving to Europe.
