Ghanaian midfield enforcer, Majeed Ashimeru has been included in the Austrian Bundesliga Team of the Week for match week 9 following his outstanding display for his Red Bull Salzburg side in their 4-1 win over Austrian Wien.
The highly-rated youngster was handed another start and managed to impress throughout the game.
Having gone behind in the match to their opponent courtesy an own in goal, Ashimeru’s 33rd minutes strike pulled level for Red Bull.
He further inspired his side to score two more goals later in the match to ensure they finished with a 4-1 win, bagging all 3 points in the process.
Other Red Bull Salzburg players, Masaya Okugawa and Sekou Koita who also found the back of the net in the big win earned places on the team of the week sheet.
This is the second week running that Majeed Ashimeru has been named in the Team of the Week.
