Majeed Ashimeru nets first league goal for Anderlecht

In RSC Anderlecht's 4-1 victory over Royal Antwerp in the Belgian top-flight league on Monday evening, Majeed Ashimeru scored his first-ever league goal.

After a goalless first period, Ashimeru gave the Mauves and White the lead with a lovely shot in the 52nd minute of the game.

Despite a late goal from Royal Antwerp's Maxime Le Marchand, Michael Murillo, Anouar Ait El Hadj, and Yari Verschaeren scored Anderlecht's other goals in the 62nd, 77th, 84th minutes.

Francis Amuzu replaced Majeed Ashimeru in the 79th minute of the game.

The 23-year-old joined RSC Anderlecht on loan from Red Bull Salzburg during the January transfer window. He has played 3 games for the Mauves and White this season.
