Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has been missing at Lorient training since Monday.
This has fuelled talks that he is likely to make a switch away from the club following their relegation from the French Ligue 1.
There have been reports that he could end up in England, Germany and Turkey after scoring 9 goals for Lorient last season.
His goals were not enough to save the team from going down but his market value did shoot up with Bursaspor constantly in touch.
The Lorientan leaders had contacts with him, but his future is not on the side of the Moustoir. Bordeaux is also on the rows.
