Ghana international Majeed Waris is happy to have played a key role in Nantes's first league win of the 2018/19 French Ligue 1 season on Saturday.
The maverick striker was named in the starting line-up in the 3-2 win at Strasbourg.
Striker Ludovic Ajorque scored in the 21st minute to hand Strasbourg an early lead but a Stefan Mitrovic own goal drew Nantes level.
Waris provided the assist for Lucas Evangelista to score to make it 2-1 for the visitors in added on time of the first half.
Emiliano Sala gave Nantes a two-goal lead in the 59th minute but Nuno Da Costa pulled one back for Strasbourg.
