Majeed Abdul Waris has joined a host of Ghanaian players in giving out sanitizers and liquid soaps to the People of Lamashegu in the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly in bid to fight against coronavirus.
Waris donated hundreds of sanitizers and liquid soaps to the people of his native town as effort to help prevent the spread of the deadly virus also called Covid-19.
The items were presented to the Assemblyman of the Lamashegu through the 'MajeedWaris Foundation' on Sunday.
The 28-year-old posted on his official twitter account, "Due to the safety precaution, Majeedwaris foundation have donated hundreds of hand sanitizers and liquid soap to the assembly man in Lamashegu to help educate and prevent the spread of the virus."
The former FC Porto forward joins Asamoah Gyan and Samuel Owusu in donating health items to Ghanaians to fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
