South African PSL giant Mamelodi Sundowns have denied reports that Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori has been offered a contract by the club

According to the said reports, Sundowns are reportedly set to offer Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori a deal at the club after a trial.

Ofori, is currently on the books of Ghanaian Premier League side Wa All-Stars but has reportedly been training with the Sundowns teams in South Africa.

However, Sundowns media officer Thulani Thuswa, has vehemently denied such claims, putting to bed the rumours.

“There’s nothing like that,” Thuswa expressed to Goal.

The 2017 Caf Super Cup champions have already filled their foreign quota for the season which would make Ofori’s move highly unlikely.

Sundowns already have ample quality in the goalkeeping department with African based Player of the Year, Denis Onyango, Wayne Sandilands and Kennedy Mweene all within their ranks.
