Premier League rivals are circling Manchester United for Chris Smalling.
The Daily Star says with the signing of Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, Jose Mourinho will allow at least one defender to leave the club this summer, with Smalling likely to go.
Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham are all monitoring the situation with Smalling.
The 27-year-old is originally from the south east and started his senior career at Maidstone United, before making his name at Fulham after joining in 2008.
