Scott McTominay and Demetri Mitchell could feature for Manchester United at Southampton.
The Manchester Evening News says they were left out of the Reserves side which beat Tottenham on Monday night.
McTominay, 20, made his United debut as a substitute at Arsenal earlier this month and was named on the bench again for the trip to Tottenham on Sunday.
He was joined in the matchday squad by Mitchell for the first time and the 20-year-old could make his debut at St Mary's on Wednesday night.
Mitchell also travelled to Arsenal but lined up against The Gunners' reserves the following night along with McTominay and Matthew Olosunde and Matty Willock, who were also included in the senior squad's travelling party.
