Man Utd Eyeing Swoop for Young Ajax Striker Tipped to Become the Next Zlatan

Manchester United are said to have stepped up their interest in 19-year-old Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg.

That's according to Neil Moxlley, who wrote as much in theSunday People, claiming that the youngster, tipped to become the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic, was scouted by United during the last week.

Jose Mourinho is said to have sent head of global scouting Marcel Boutto watch Dolberg in the flesh, and the forward impressed with a goal during a 3-2 victory against Celta Vigo in the Europa League group stage on Thursday.

Dolberg is turning out to be a real hit in the Dutch Eredivisie this season, and has been garnering interest from all around.

He scored a magnificent goal against PEC Zwolle back in September, turning two defenders after picking the ball up near the halfway line, before releasing a blistering shot that hit the underside of the bar twice before bouncing over the line.

The teenager is also being watched by Chelsea, according to other reports which claim that Blues scouting adviserPiet de Visser has attended matches.

De Visser holds no official post at the club, but remains in contact with owner Roman Abramovich, and keeps a lookout for talent all over.

Dolberg, who was born in Denmark, started out at a very early age, joining local clubGFG Voel as a four-year-old. He signed for Ajax last January, but it looks like the club will struggle to keep him at this rate.
