Man Utd keeper De Gea to denied Old Trafford farewell?

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho may deny David de Gea a final farewell at Old Trafford next week.

The Mirror says Mourinho intends to blood Portuguese rookie Joel Pereira in one of his team's last three Premier League games.

And the likelihood is that No1 De Gea will be in goal for Sunday's trip to Tottenham and the clash at Southampton on Wednesday night, so that 20-year-old Pereira can make his top-flight debut against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford next Sunday.

De Gea is a £60million target for Real Madrid – and the belief both inside the Bernabeu and Old Trafford is that the Spanish international will be heading back home this summer.

But the 26-year-old is now likely to miss out on playing a final game in front of the fans he has thrilled since moving from Atletico Madrid in an £18 million deal seven years ago.
