Manchester United are preparing a £35 million bid for Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.
The Sun says United boss Jose Mourinho wants Matic — who he signed at Stamford Bridge in 2014 —as part of a new-look midfield for next season.
Serbian Matic, 28, will lift the Premier League title today for the second time at Chelsea after their match with Sunderland.
Mourinho is after two central midfielders this summer — with Eric Dier proving difficult to land from Tottenham.
Matic has two years left on his current terms at the Blues and a new deal has looked in the pipeline but has never been announced.
