In the upcoming weeks, Manchester United will become the first Premier League club to break the £1bn mark for total prize money earned.
A study completed by betting company Spreadex at the end of last season showed that United had earned a stunning £870.3million since 1992-93.
The amount put them in first place on the list ahead of Arsenal on £842.8m in second, and Liverpool and Chelsea in third at £815.4m.
The bottom Premier League clubs will earn £100m for this season and first placed Chelsea will earn more than 150m. With United positioned in sixth, their amount will be the first to reach £1bn by the end of the season.
In 2015-16, Premier League clubs earned £1.64bn between them but that figure is set to rise for this season.
