Chelsea are in contact with Everton striker Romelu Lukaku about a return to Stamford Bridge.
Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio reports Lukaku is Chelsea's top choice and talks with his representatives are already under way.
The player himself has allegedly spoken to Blues goalkeeper and Belgium teammate Thibaut Courtois over his potential move back to London.
And Chelsea are now ready to enter into discussions with Everton as they prepare to make a £70m offer.
Lukaku is also a target for Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, with Everton hoping to sell for a record £100 million. Mourinho sees the Belgian as the ideal replacement for departing injured centre-forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
