Man Utd\'s FA Cup 58-match television streak to end

Published on: 08 December 2017

An incredible FA Cup run is set to end for Manchester United: the club's streak of having a televised game.

Manchester United's past 58 matches in the FA Cup were televised in England, but that is not the case for the clash against Derby on Old Trafford on the 6th of January.

And it took a fantastic fixture to kick United off the TV schedules: the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton. Other exciting games from the third round include Chelsea clashing with Norwich, and holders Arsenal facing Nottingham Forest.

United will be hoping they have plenty of other televised FA Cup games during the season. The club will be seeking a repeat of the 2016 season, where it managed to win the FA Cup after a 2-1 extra time win over Crystal Palace.
