Ajax starlet Kasper Dolberg is being heavily linked with a transfer to Manchester City and City scout Sebastian Arnesen has confirmed Pep Guardiola is a big fan of the player, according to Goal.

The Dane recently scoreda hat-trickagainst NEC, drumming up even more attention and subsequently,Arnesen has confirmed City's interest inhim:

"We are keeping a very close eye on him, when the time is right, we'll make a decision on whether to make an attempt to sign him."

Dolberg currently has 8 goals in the Eredivisie, the most in the league along with Jorgensen and Unal, an incrediblestart for someone just 19 years of age.

City have quite clearly noticed just how good he is; Arnesen had this to say: "He has a huge potential. He is tall, strong, brave and quick. He has an excellent touch, can play with his back to goal and makes the right decisions."

Clearly a player with lots going for him, Dolberg's recent success has led to a call up to the national team and he made his debut for Denmark against Kazakhstan on November 12th.

The 19-year-old only recently extended his contract at Ajax until the year 2021, so a move looks unlikely at the minute, but is almost certain to happen in the future.

Pep's admiration for the youngster can only serve as a massive confidence boost and will perhapsleadto even better performances. However with many bright stars trying and failing at City, he needs to decide where and when to make a move.
