Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna has admitted he is unsure whether he will be at the club next season.
Sagna joined the club back in 2014 after a seven year spell at Arsenal, and established himself ahead of Pablo Zabaleta as City's first-choice right-back during the 2015-16 season, having initially finding Premier League appearances difficult to come by during his debut season.
However, Sagna has claimed he does not know whether he will be at the club next season given that new contract talks are yet to begin. The 33-year-old's contract runs out in the summer and he would be free to leave the Etihad should an extension not be agreed.
"My contract expires at the end of the season," Sagna toldbeIN SPORTS."I am not thinking about it, though. I just take things as they come and try to give my all.
"There have been no negotiations as of yet, so I do not know what will happen."
Sagna has been linked with a move to Ligue 1 side Marseille but the France internationalappeared to rubbish those rumours, claiming the move would put him under too much pressure.
"Marseille are a club that I like a lot, a club that is part of the history of French football," he continued.
"But I do not know whether I want to be under so much pressure at the age of 34. I need some calm around me and I am not sure Marseille are a stable club right now."
Sagna has made a total of 69 appearances for City since his move from Arsenal, winning the League Cup during his stay with the club.
