Manchester City Star Sergio Aguero Cheekily Tries to Tempt Gareth Bale to the Etihad

Argentina striker Sergio Aguero upped his charm and tried to tempt Gareth Bale to the Manchester City in a video interview between the two created by Goal.

The superstars were taking part as ambassadors for car manufacturer Nissan -one of this season's Champions League sponsors - ahead of the competition's return this week.

The video sees Bale quizAguero on various things such as what he misses about Spain, and what his favourite thing in the UK is. But one particular answer he gave might have excited some of the more ambitious City fans.

When asked how he thought the pair would perform on the pitch as team-mates, Aguero said: "Good question Gareth. If you come to Manchester City, we can play together."

Failing to stifle acheekygrin, the video thencame to a swift end - most likely leaving fans gutted that there was no response from Bale.

The duo hadsat down for a series of video interviews conducted by Goal that saw them recount their personal histories in Europe's most prestigious clubcompetition.

Aguero resided inMadrid during five seasons with Atletico, before being purchased by Manchester City for £38m in back2011. Bale, now playing for fiercest rivals Real Madrid, made the switch the other way in 2013 for a then-world record fee of£85.1m from Tottenham.

The Welsh winger has gone from strength to strength since the move and many believe he is well on his way to justifying hisastronomical transfer fee and emerging from Cristiano Ronaldo's giant shadow at the Bernabeu - with some of the opinion that he has already achieved both.

While some City fans will be hoping Aguero's response will trigger a change of heart for Bale and hisfootballing plans, a move back to the Premier League would be highly unlikely at the present moment for the settled star.
