Manchester United Boss Jose Mourinho Set to Give 'Big Game Player' Starting Spot in Liverpool Clash

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has the unenviable task of picking his best side for the club's Monday night clash with rivals Liverpool, and has a lot to think about.

The Portuguese coach has assembled quite a squad for the 2016/17 after a sensational summer transfer market following a series of big name players moving to Manchester, however looking back over their recent results, it is obvious that the former RealMadrid manager isn't quite sure of his best starting XI yet.

As well as the question of whether club captain Wayne Rooney deserves a starting place, and if so where he should play, Mourinho also has to decide if young starlet Marcus Rashford should play down the middle atthe expense of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and where Henrikh Mkhitaryan fits in.

However, Mourinho has reportedly already decided on one player definitely starting at Anfield, and it isn't who you would initially expect - Jesse Lingard.

According to theManchester Evening News, Lingard is tipped to be starting out on the right for Mourinho's side, after suggesting that he is a 'big game player', which is surprising following his shocking display in the Manchester derby, resulting in him being subbed at half time.

Lingard is obviosuly trusted by Mourinho, but the England international may be spending most of his time in his own half defending, as Jurgen Klopp's Reds will look to attack with their usual pace and intensity that could cause United a lot of problems.
