Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah has joined the first-team squad for training on the eve of the Community Shield clash against Leicester City. Fosu-Mensah was sidelined over the last week with a calf strain but could be in contention to feature against Leicester at Wembley on Sunday.

He was rumored to be among eight players who had been transfer-listed by Jose Mourinho ahead of the start of season.

However, the Portuguese has since dispelled those rumors and was seen sharing a high-five with Ghanaian-born/Dutch youngster.
