Jose Mourinho and Ed Woodward have held talks with Gareth Bale's agent over a potential move for the Welsh star, according to reports fromDiario Golin Spain.
The 27-year-old's representative, Jonathan Barnett, spoke with the pair in Manchester last weekand the Red Devils are supposedly confident of a move happening - with Bale reportedlyfrustrated at constantly living in Cristiano Ronaldo's shadow.

The report even claims thatBale himself may well end up forcing a move through himself unless Real Madrid give him the same superstar treatment as Ronaldo.
However, the Galacticos are looking to actually extend the formerTottenham star's current contract in an attempt to keep him at the Bernabeu for years to come, offering him an astonishing £17m-per-year.Bale made his big money move from White Hart Lane to Santiago Bernabeu three years ago for £85m.
Despite starting 116 times in those three years, with 61 goals, the Welshman is increasingly frustrated at being second best to Ronaldo after hoping he would become the club's main man sooner rather than later.
