The Red Devils are keeping a close eye on the Dutch-born Ghanaian, who has been impressive for Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga this season.

The 23-year-old has racked up eight goals and provided 10 assists in 27 games across competitions for Leverkusen, who are chasing the Bundesliga title.

However, there are a number of clubs interested in signing him in the summer due to his swashbuckling performance this campaign. Frimpong is one of the top performers in the German top-tier league this season.

According to reports, Manchester United have targeted four key signings in the upcoming transfer window with Frimpong no exception.

The enterprising right-back was on the club's radar last season ahead of the 2023 summer window but a move could not materialize.
