Jose Mourinho is facing a potential stadium banfollowing his conduct during Manchester United's 0-0 draw with Burnley on Saturday.

Mourinho was sent to the stands after half-time following a row with referee Mark Clattenburg. United saw a penalty appeal waved away by the referee as Matteo Darmian collided with Jon Flanaganin the box during the first half.

According to theDaily Mail, Mourinho is likely toface punishment once Clattenburg files his report of Saturday's match. The former Chelsea and Real Madrid head coach already faces a charge of misconduct following comments he made about Anthony Taylor ahead of United's match against Liverpool, and could face a touchline or stadium ban.

Following his half-time conversation with Clattenburg, Mourinho was not allowed back into the dugout and eventually moved to the directors' box after being told he couldn't sit in the front row. The potential ban is the culmination of a poor week for Mourinho and his side.

Last Sunday his side capitulated to a 4-0 defeat to Chelsea, before Mourinho described his living situationat the Lowry Hotel was a "disaster". On Saturday his United side were denied by a resolute Burnley side, with goalkeeper Tom Heaton making a string of impressive saves. Mourinho's assistant Rui Faria took charge of the interviews after the game, declaring the referee's performance was "fantastic".

Mourinho has a long history of touchline misconduct, announcing himself to British audiences with his wild celebrations early in his career, while his post match comments have often landed him in hot water.

United's draw with Burnley leaves them in eighth position, eight points behind leaders Manchester City.
