Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has said that the team are adapting to changes made by new manager, Carlo Ancelotti, and that their win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday will boost the morale amongst the players.
The Bavarians claimed a 1-0 win over Diego Simeone's side in their final Champions Leaguegroup game of the season. Having suffered a shock defeat to Russian minnows Rostov in matchday five, Bayern were unable to catch group leaders Atletico, but they wereable to get the better of the Spanish outfit thanks to Robert Lewandowski's free kick.

Sadly, the win has done little to ease the growing pressure on Carlo Ancelotti, who is being blamed for the club's failure to win Group C. The Italian is also struggling to prove his doubters wrong on the domestic front, as the reigning Bundesliga champions sit behind shock leaders RB Liepzig in the league.
But Bayern's goalkeeper has told theMailthat the players are beginning to adapt to Ancelotti's style of management and hailed the win over Atletico, even though the result had little meaning.

Neuer said:"We are growing more used to (Ancelotti's) system now. But we are also able to change our system depending on the opponent. We can play well in a number of different set-ups.
"The manager always sets us up according to what game we are playing in. The preparation is very important for us under Ancelotti. We carried out our plan well today.
"It was important for us to win this game.
"It is always good to beat a team as good as Atletico, but it was also important to show that we are still a difficult team to beat, especially at home. It was good for our ego."
