On Monday, experienced football administrator Albert Commey alleged that most matches played on the final weekend of the league season including the game between Gold Stars and Ashgold were fixed.

Reacting to that claim in an interview with Akoma FM today, Coach Michael Osei says it is untrue.

According to him, goals scored by Ashanti Gold forward Yaw Annor had nothing to do with match-fixing or betting.

“Yaw Annor is a fantastic player none of his goals was betting. Bibiani Gold Stars don't play fixed-matches nor engage in match manipulation,” Coach Michael Osei said in an interview with Ashh FM.

According to Albert Commey, the match between Hearts of Oak and RTU on the final weekend of the Ghana Premier League was also fixed.
