The Black Galaxies of Ghana enjoyed victory on Tuesday afternoon at the end of their friendly match against the Egypt U20 national team.
The locally assembled national team of the West African country travelled to Egypt on Saturday to pitch camp and train for the 2023 CHAN tournament.
After travelling for a few days, the Black Galaxies today engaged the Egypt U20 team in a friendly match.
At the end of a contest staged at the Cairo International Stadium, the Ghana national team got the better of the opponent.
It was all thanks to Sylvester Simba and Kofi Kordzi who scored the goals for the Black Galaxies to seal the win for the team.
After today, the Black Galaxies will be involved in a couple of friendly matches before travelling to Algeria for the start of the 2023 CHAN tournament.
At the tournament, the Black Galaxies of Ghana have been drawn in Group C and will face off with Madagascar, Sudan, and Morocco.
