Inter Allies inched away from the relegation zone after a surprise 1-0 away win at Dreams DC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
Frederick Boateng netted the only goal of the match in the 60th minute when he headed home a cross from U-20 attacker Ropapa Mensah to secure all three points.
Dreams had earlier missed the opportunity to move ahead when Abeiku Ainooson missed a penalty in the 58th minute. His tame effort was saved by goalie Kwame Baah.
Allies responded to that set-back moments later when Ropapa Mensah beat his marker and floated in a cross for Frederick Boateng to nod home.
Dreams mounted an assault in a desperate search of an equaliser but Allies held-on for the points.
