Aduana Stars missed the opportunity to move into second place on the Ghana Premier League table when they were stunned 2-1 by relegation threathened Aduana Stars on Sunday at the Essipong Stadium.

Hasaacas took the lead in the game through Ebo Duncan but Bright Adjei drew Cioba Aristica's Aduana level before Richmond Opoku scored the winner for Hasmal.

Hasaacas coach, Yussif Basigi headed into the clash under a lot of pressure, with rumours suggesting that he will be fired if his side lost.

Hasmal were in 15th place on the 16-team league log and that proved to be the only motivation they needed.

Interstingly, they scored the opener from an unlikely source as Ebo Duncan shot them into the lead.

The result lifted Hasaacas out of the relegation zone after their rivals Inter Allies and Bechem United failed to pick-up maximum points.
