MATCH REPORT: Hearts 1 Dreams FC 0 - Phobians move to second place in Traguil's first game in charge

Published on: 26 June 2016

Portuguese trainer, Sergo Traguil made a winning-start to his tenure as Accra Hearts of Oak coach with a 1-0 win over Dreams FC.

Nigerian forward, Cosmos Dauda scored the only goal of the match with a scrappy finish in the 61st minute.

Traguil handed debuts to new signings Kassenu Ghandi and Patrick Razak while playmaker Samudeen Ibrahim made a rare start.

The coach who was not allowed on the bench because he is yet to receive his work permit saw his side dominate the first half but fall short in the final third.

New signing Patrick Razak shone for the Phobians in flashes while Isaac Mensah was at his tricky best for the hosts who were threathened on the break by a cautious Dreams FC side who lost dangerman Lawson Bekui to injury.

Former trainer, Kenichi Yatsuhashi was in the stands to watch his side climb to second place within two points of Wa All Stars (31 points) on the league log.
