MATCH REPORT: Medeama SC brush aside Berekum Chelsea

Medeama SC defeated Berekum Chelsea 3-1 in the Match Day 20 0f the Ghana Premier League at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park on Thursday.

The game that was scheduled for Wednesday was rained off but was finally cleared on Thursday.

The home side, Medeama began the brightest of the two side and it didn’t take too long for them to grab the opener.

Defender Paul Aidoo opened the scoring in the 17th minute through a spot kick.

However, inform Berekum Chelsea attacker Stephen Sarfo was always lurking for the equalizer and he did find the leveler at the half hour mark.

The game headed for the break 1-1 but Coach Evans Adotey and his Medeama side had enough ammunition in their sleeves.

Medeama regroup and looked revamped for the second half.

Striker Bernard Ofori increased the lead in the 68th minute before Bismark oppong hit the final nail to the coffin with 8 minutes to go.
