Accra Hearts of Oak preserved their unbeaten away run in the Ghana Premier League with a 1-1 draw against Dreams FC courtesy a late equaliser from Paul Acquah at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

The Phobians came into the game at the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Liberty Professionals in mid-week and were lucky to escape with a point.

The result plunges the Phobians to 4th place behind All Stars, Aduana and Kotoko at the end of the first round.

Samuel Akrofi maintained his position in the team and was partnered at centre-back by Ivorian skipper Robin Gnagne.

Samuel Akrugu also maintained his position in goal despite the return from suspension of Soulama Abdoulaye who seems to have lost his position in the team after a high profile howler a couple of weeks ago.

The homeside had Hearts on the ropes for vast parts of the first-half with Lawson Bekui terrosising the Phobian defence.

Bekui got his just reward in the 30th minute when he fired home his 7th goal of the season to give Dreams a deserved lead.

However, the Phobians who are known for strong second half performances equalised through Paul Acquah late on in the 84th minute from a counter-attack.

The end of the game saw Dreams FC players surround Referee Seidu Bommison for denying them a last gasp winner when he ruled Bekui's finish as offside.
