Head coach for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu is hoping to improve his team before the next football season commences.

The highly-rated manager was appointed as the head of the technical team of the Porcupine Warriors club last year prior to the start of the 2019/2020 football season.

Following a decent performance in the Ghana Premier League, Asante Kotoko occupied the 3rd position on the standings at the time the campaign was suspended and eventually canceled as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Looking ahead to the return of football, Maxwell Konadu has noted that the team needs to improve by putting in hard work before going into the 2020/2021 season.

“Our level is good but there is more room for improvement with hard work. We also need to make sure that, we make fewer mistakes than before”, the gaffer said in an interview on the Kotoko Express App

Football remains banned in the country but it is understood that it will be lifted very soon for clubs to return to training.
