Medeama, Ghana’s sole representative in continental football, left Accra for Tanzania on Wednesday night with a 30-man contingent made-up of players, officials and management members for the game slated for the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam. Medeama is yet to secure a win in the group made up of African champions TP Mazembe, MO Bejaia of Algeria and Tanzanian side Young Africans but coach Prince Owusu believes his team is well prepared to make Ghana proud. “We have watched videos of them playing and have studied their style of play. If they play just like we have seen in the video, we will beat them.” “We are going to make Ghana proud.” He said. The Tarkwa based club suffered a 3-1 defeat to TP Mazembe in their opening game before drawing goalless with MO Bejaia. Young Africans, who are coached by former Medeama SC Dutch trainer Hans van der Pluijm, are yet to pick a point having lost all two games in the Group.
