Medeama coach Samuel Boadu eyes Special Competition trophy

Medeama SC head coach Samuel Boadu says the priority of the team in upcoming GFA Normalisation Committee Special Competition is to win the coveted trophy which kicks off on February 3 at various match venues.

The Ghana Football Association Normalization Committee have organised a Special Football League for Premier League sides and the 48 Lower Division clubs to replace the truncated 2018 Ghana Premier League after football activities in the country was halted following the airing of the investigative piece by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas on corruption in Ghana football.

Coach Boadu has declared his intentions to clinch the Special Competition.

"We've prepared very well for the Special Competition. All my players are available with the exception of those who will travel outside the country to join new clubs," Coach Samuel Boadu told Kickgh.com.

"I know that the competition will be very tough. We want to make an impact in every competition we play. So we're preparing very hard to win the Special Committee. We're determined to win the competition," he ended.
