Medeama SC announce signing of striker Abass Mohammed

Ghanaian giant, Medeama SC has announced that they have completed the signing of striker Abass Mohammed ahead of the start of the new football season.

In the last 24 hours, the club’s top scorer for the 2019/2020 football season, Prince Opoku Agyemang sealed a loan move to Cape Town City FC in South Africa.

In a bid to get his replacement, Medeama SC has wrapped up a deal to bring in striker Abass Mohammed.

“Medeama Sporting Club have completed the signing of striker Abass Mohammed on a free transfer”, an official club statement has said this afternoon.

It continues, “Abass has signed a two-year deal with the Mauve and Yellows to complete his return to Tarkwa.

“The striker is staging his second coming to the club after spending three seasons between 2014-2017.

“He featured prominently for Medeama during the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2016”.

Abass Mohammed moved to Asante Kotoko for two seasons before joining the Nigerian side Enyimba FC.
