Medeama SC have completed the signing of former Ghana U-20 striker Abdul Basit-Adam in the on-going transfer window.

The 25-year-old penned a three-year deal with the club from New Edubiase after successful negotiations.

Basit-Adam has returned to the Ghanaian top-flight after ending his stay at Turkish side Çanakkale Dardanel SK.

He is expected to follow in the footsteps of his former New Edubiase colleagues Bernard Ofori and Prince Opoku Agyemang to deliver another superb performance for the Mauve and Yellows in the upcoming season.

Basit left New Edubiase in 2013 to join South African giants Free States Stars, but left after two seasons to rejoin the Ghanaian club.

After just a season, he moved to Sweden to sign for Gefle IF before joining Frej.
