Medeama SC have confirmed the departure of Gideon Acquah to Spanish side Extremadura UD.
The 18-year-old has joined the Azulgranas on a one-year loan deal with an option to make it permanent.
The highly-rated defender joined Ghanaian side Medeama in February this year from lower division side Accra Sporting Club.
The club confirmed on Wednesday that the youngster has joined the Spanish second-tier side.
