Medeama SC have denied reports suggesting midfielder Kwame Boahene is in Kumasi to seal a move to Asante Kotoko.

According to the Tarkwa based side, Boahene is in Kumasi to cast his ballot in the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections and not to sign a deal with the porcupine warriors.

"The players have been given permission to travel to their respective constituencies to vote and Kwame is one of them," club spokesman Patrick Akoto said

"It has got nothing to do with the player traveling to Kumasi to hold talks with Kotoko.

"Indeed both clubs are in negotiation as we speak but there is no concrete to report
