Medeama SC midfielder Eric Kwakwa eyes move abroad despite Hearts approach

Medeama SC ace Eric Kwakwa says he is eyeing a move abroad despite Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak begging him for his signature.

According to Sportsnewsgh.com sources, Kwakwa is on the verge of leaving the Ghana Premier League in January.

The source also confirmed that the midfielder's four years contract with the Tarkwa based side has elapsed.

In Sportsnewsgh.com exclusive interview with the player, he disclosed that he is not ready to renew his contract with the former MTN FA Cup winners.

He has been a transfer target for Hearts and other clubs in the local league.

The source revealed that Managing Director of Hearts of Oak, Mr Mark Noonan has met the player to discuss a potential transfer switch.

“A lot of foreign offers on my table to choose out the best before the January transfer window opens”, Kwakwa confirmed to Sportsnewsgh.com

“Playing in the Ghana Premier league is not my dream for now, although Hearts are kneeling for my signature and other clubs in Ghana. ”

Asante Kotoko also made the move to sign the player ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign following his experience in the tournament.

Kwakwa made 10 appearances for the Mauve and Yellow and scored in the first round of the Zylofon Cash Premier League once after his loan return from Iceland.
