Medeama SC midfielder Justice Blay suffers broken leg injury

Highly-rated midfielder Justice Blay has picked up a broken leg injury while in action for Medeama SC in the game against Legon Cities FC on Sunday afternoon.

The former Asante Kotoko loanee has been in outstanding form this season and as a result, earned his maiden Black Stars call-up last month for the final qualification matches to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Today, he was named in the starting lineup for Medeama SC when the team hosted Legon Cities FC at the Akoon Park to battle for points on matchday 20 of the Ghana Premier League.

Late in the first half, Justice Blay was on the end of a nasty challenge from defender Joseph Adjei and had to require immediate medical attention.

The midfielder was left in pain with his injury according to reports a broken leg injury.

He is said to have been rushed to the hospital for further checks with the entire Medeama SC team distraught with the news.
